The following is a summary overview of the application process.


  1. YOU
    Begin application at 1-Stop MSIC Website and complete all details as required in the online application including completing any required induction courses and tests.

  2. Print and present the application form, the required ID for verification, photo and submit a payment at the post office if required.

    The post office will perform the required ID and photo checks.

  4. AUSCHECK (Background checking)
    1-Stop will send the application to Auscheck for background and work rights check.

  5. If the checks have been approved, 1-Stop will arrange to print the card

  6. Printing of the card
    Once the card is printed it will be sent to your nominated Australia Post outlet.

  7. Card Collection Slip
    A card collection slip will be mailed to you to advise you to go and collect the card from the Post Office.

  8. YOU
    Bring the card collection slip and ID for verification to the Post Office to pick up your new card.
