About Stack Run Module for VBS customers

The VBS allows certain users to request to move groups of containers between the terminal and container parks / depots via the Stack Run screens.

Stack Run In (Empty & Full) and Stack Run Out

There are three distinct parts to the Stack Run services; Stack Run In Empty, Stack Run In Full and Stack Run-Out.

Not all terminals use both parts of the service and not all terminal menus will display identical information for the services.
When you use this guide, remember that the terminals configure their VBS terminal screens according to their own needs; this may mean that there may be small differences between the screens you see and the screens in the guide.

Permission Required

In order to perform:

Stack Run In (Empty): the user must have contacted the shipping line who owns the containers and received permission to move containers in the form of an Empty Release Number (ERN).

Stack Run In (Full): the user must have contacted the shipping line who owns the containers and received permission to move containers in the form of a Shipping Line booking number.

Stack Run Out: the user must have contacted the shipping line who owns the containers and received permission to move containers in the form  Electronic Import Delivery Order Number (EIDO) PIN.

(Contact the shipping line for more information on this.)

Requests for Stack Runs are verified by the terminal.

How to get access to the Stack Run service

Permission to access the Stack Run service is granted by the terminal. Contact the terminal for more information. When the terminal grants permission, they will contact the 1-Stop Helpdesk and the role will be added to your VBS subscription.
